"West Chester needed a barbeque place."
That's owner Mabel Spann on why 3 years ago she decided to open up Mabel's Barbeque. According to Spann, there was just no good place to get Southern specialties like Pulled Pork, Sweet Potato Pie, Ribs and Mac & Cheese. Mable's offers authentic barbeque and fried recipes—handed down from Spann's extended family.
Things to note: everything is cooked on site, call ahead for fried food, catering is available (just call for a quote), there's convenient parking out front, and they're open 7 days a week.
HEADS UP FOLKS: Holiday ordering should be done early—particularly Sweet Potato Pie and sheets of our sides. Order at least two days before Thanksgiving and Christmas.
